And they are also determined to screen the debut of Sam’ Smith's new James Bond theme tune Writing’s On The Wall for 007 movie Spectre.
Simon Cowell has told producers to do whatever it takes to sign both UK superstars.
The Daily Star Sunday reveals One Direction, Little Mix, Olly Murs and Rita Ora are confirmed to perform on the live shows later this year.
An X Factor source said: “Simon knows how big a ratings hit landing Adele’s big comeback and Sam’s first performance of the Bond theme will be.
“They are the two biggest singing stars on the planet at the moment and he’s told his team to do whatever they must to make sure Strictly doesn’t get them.
