Simon Cowell has reportedly spent £15 million on a new home in Wimbledon South London for when Eric starts school.
It is understood Eric will be enrolled in an exclusive school local to Simon and Lauren's new home.
Simon is moving from his Holland Park home to a new six-bedroom property in the south-west London suburb due to the school system and the catchment area.
Simon and partner Lauren Silverman, are looking at not only a certain primary school for Eric, but also secondary schools for him to progress to.
A source told the Sun newspaper, 'He and Lauren sat down and talked about where they wanted him to go to school, and given how much time they spend in England, they decided to be based here in the future more than in the US.'
