Set to air this autumn, Simon Cowell will take part in a new documentary by Louis Theroux delving into the lives of nineties pop stars.
With the title 'Boybands Forever' the documentary is to be shown in three parts on BBC Two. The program features Simon Cowell and Robbie Williams together with members of Westlife, East 17, Blue, Five and more. The bands managers including Louis Walsh will also appear.
Focusing on the ups and downs of the band members and their managers, the show will take you back to how it felt in the 90's to be part of the huge boyband era.
Louis Theroux said “I couldn’t be more thrilled about this series
.
“An epic story featuring a cast of stars and star-makers, it involves some of the icons of modern British pop.
“We see them through their highs and lows, hearing from the key players, as we chart the golden years of boy bands.
“Those boys we all watched singing and dancing in tight formation are now middle-aged men who have the time and the maturity to look back and reflect on what they went through."
We will update you on the screening schedule when announced.
