Simon Cowell has called in interior designer Kelly Hoppen to give his London home a makeover from bachelor pad to family townhouse.
Simon now needs to consider his partner Lauren Silverman, and their seven-month-old son Eric.
So it make sense that he’s called in an expert to help with the female-friendly overhaul.
Kelly met with Simon two months ago to get initial discussions under way.
She has since been instructed to work closely with Lauren on coming up with the final chic look.
One of the first criteria is that she gets rid of the black wooden floors and loo roll that Simon had out in his singledom days.
According the The Mirror their source says: “Lauren and Kelly have really hit it off – they plan to throw away loads of Simon’s bachelor items.
"The ladies plan to go out together shopping to buy all new accessories for the pad – cushions, picture frames, lampshades...”
Which will go down well, as Simon has said: “I hate belongings. I hate clutter. It really bothers me because I can’t think properly.
"If you’ve got distractions, your mind goes nuts.”
Simon is famous for having an OCD that means he always pays attention to detail so Lauren is lucky to be let loose.
Kelly, whose A-list clientele includes Victoria and David Beckham, Elton John and Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley, is well known for working with block, neutral colours and creating a calming atmosphere, so that’s something.
