Police Release CCTV Of A Suspect In Simon Cowell's Burglary.

Detectives hunting burglars who raided Simon Cowell's £10million London mansion today issued video footage of a suspect.

The CCTV footage was taken in the early hours of Friday December 4th when £500,000 worth of cash and jewellery was taken from the house in Holland Park as Cowell, his partner Lauren Silverman and their young son, Eric, slept inside.

The man in the footage is described as slim and around 5' 10'. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark trousers and a red woolly hat.

A brief clip, recorded by a street CCTV camera, shows the man walking at a brisk pace through a deserted street late at night. The man, who has a short beard, glances over his shoulder as he hurries along. The clip can be watched here.

Police say a 37-year-old man has already been arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed to a date in early January pending further inquiries.

Anyone who knows who the man in the footage or who has information about the incident should call Kensington and Chelsea CID on 020 8246 0137 or, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
