In A Shock Announcement Camila Cabello Quits Fifth Harmony

In a shock announcement this morning we learn Camila Cabello has quit the group Fifth Harmony.

The girls were put together by Simon Cowell on The X Factor USA four and a half years ago. Although not winning that year, Simon signed them to his record label Syco Music.

We understand Camila didn't tell the girls herself, leaving it to her management.

The group released a statement on Monday morning revealing the 19-year-old failed to inform her bandmates of her decision – and left it to her representatives to break the news.

Their announcement came just hours after the five of them took to the stage at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in Florida.

In a statement from Fifth Harmony to their fans “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.

We wish her well.“You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you’ve supported us, you’ve rejoiced and cried with us, you’ve grown with us, and with your love and support, we will continue on.

“We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavours.

“We are excited for our future, and we can’t wait for what the new year brings.

“Harmonizers, we are in this together. We love you with all our hearts.”

The girls Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui will continue as a four piece group. In our opinion they have a very strong fan base which will support them during the transition and beyond.
